"AN OUNCE OF SAUCE

COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SINS."

Anthony Bourdain

EAT

When going to Dominican Republic, be prepared to eat lots of rice! Rice is usually served with beans on top (habichuelas). Most Dominican meals also consist of plantains. The plantains are either fried or mashed. They also eat cassava (Yuva). So when going to a resturant in Dominican Republic, be prepared to eat these around either lunch or dinner time.

They picture above shows your average Dominican dinner or lunch.

DINNER/LUNCH

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is most of the time light and consists of coffee and bread. But is heavier in urban areas.
